Cohan & Associates has invested and/or on whose advisory board Cohan serves include the following: Andromedia, a San Francisco, CA-based Internet software firm, which was acquired by Macromedia (MACR) for $440 million in Macromedia stock in December 1999. Macromedia was acquired in December 2005 by Adobe Systems (ADBE) for $3.4 billion; SupplierMarket.com, a Burlington, MA-based online marketplace for built-to-order industrial products, which was acquired in a stock swap by Ariba (ARBA) for $900 million in August 2000; and Lexar Media (LEXR), a Fremont, CA-based manufacturer of digital film and related products, which went public in August 2000 and was acquired in June 2006 for $850 million by Micron Technology (MU).
